If you haven't already, you should upgrade your injectors to the 4 port 5.0 Explorer injectors.[/quote] Interesting ! I didn’t do that, they are new 19lb 4 hole. Why explorer injectors ? Re: yet another Richer Racing black bronco build!
Some killer parts on this build. When are you expecting to have it in the dirt? Jonny and the boys have been cranking away on some other builds they needed to get finished. They jumped back on mine this week and started hanging my rear end. There is still a TON of stuff to do, we're in the beginnin...

Everyone needs to just get Google Chrome then the plugin to see all the photobucket pics. Just read through this entire thing, exactly how I want mine to end up one day, super nice build. Wes Rad, thanks for the heads up! just tried it and it works. I'm in incognito mode which requires an extra ste...

I would just not do the tranny mount until the motor is stabbed ....just in case it changes angle..... if you are 1 inch higher I don't see an issue but lets just make sure. Is your T case fixed location? if so it does not matter Something else to note on my situation... due to the motor mounts als...

I've got a full Autofab kit engine mount kit- how well do these actually fit? Just trying to guess how bolt-in the - bolt-on is?!?! :-) Regardless of what Autofab says, their mounts lift the engine up and back something like 1 - 1 1/2" if i remember correctly. Firewall needs to be clearanced for ed...

Doing this from my phone hope it works! I am happy with the out come.... Mock up you see is on Tanks bronco who I teamed up with to get these bed sides made. Robert from autofab did really good with the vessel styling. This is a 74 WMS rearend to match front with 39 kr2 tires ... so guys I see no i...

Re: Slappy Style Go Fast with Dana 44/50 hybrid beams....
Molds are made.... first set of glass Friday. we will be checking a set for clearance on 74 WMS rearend . we just have to figure out how much of the top edge we want to go under the shell or not at all...... I'm assuming you meant *over* the shell (i.e. mcneil 6" w/ tt style bulge ) In which I say ...

Re: Carb Air Cleaners for Desert Use??
Been reading up on R2C and I'm really leaning towards using their carb filter and drop base with a foam pre filter rather than dual UMP's on my 427wVintageIronFab wrote:I bought a R2C and it seems nice but I've got zero miles on it.

Dual Donaldson/UMP's are the best solution, You just need the right carb topper. Needs to be about twice the diameter of the UMP one. Also needs the inlets 180* apart.
Any experience with r2c filters? heard a bunch of good things about them.

Re: yet another Richer Racing black bronco build!
Droolin over parts yesterday... I went overkill and opted for the HD "race case" with 300m shafts. I also decided since I was doing a stand alone trans controller that I'd use their VSS tail shaft housing to make for a clean setup. It uses a GM  40 pulse VSS sensor, which I can specify within ...
