NZSracing's 1978 F150 Super Stock build.

Well, its time for a new truck. Our previous Stock Truck ( http://www.gofastbroncos.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2638&start=0 ) has served us well, and its time to start saving pennies and move up to the wild Class 8 (Super Stock Truck) of the MORR body. We bought another rusty 78, this time a sho...

Re: Dent Side Racing TORC team. *Hillbilly fun & some work*

Not a whole lot of progress, we fixed the front half of the #505, and just doing some minor race prep things on that, while we have a shortbox 79 frame being prepped to build a super stock. I dont know if we'll have it done for this season, but we'll be starting the chassis soon. Ordered a fresh pro...

Re: giant 64 leaves with shocks under the bed

Slightly different than the "Chevy" 64's - but yes, a 64" spring under the bronco. This pack to be exact: http://i453.photobucket.com/albums/qq260/ChaseTruck754/74%20Ford%20F-100%20Supercab/1001-1.jpg I see. I was thinking of doing this swap considering its popular with the ranger guys, and I have ...

Excuse my slowness today, but your talking about using chevy's 64" springs under your bronco?

Re: Dent Side Racing TORC team. *Hillbilly fun & some work*

So what ever happened with this? Finished both the #400 and #505 up, Alex in the #400 Bronco took 4th in points, with 5 podiums out of 8 rounds of racing, and finished up the year being able to drive back into the garage under its own power. The #505 Stock Truck finished third in points, having 4 p...

Re: Jeffs Bronco Graveyard Cage's.

Don't cage it. Use it for a DD and put the money and time in your race truck* *Disclaimer: I only say that due to the fact I currently have an F150 I promised myself I wouldn't molest until my bronco is done! Good point. Speaking of that, you have any goodies lying around? This will stay a DD, but ...

Re: Jeffs Bronco Graveyard Cage's.

Right off the bat, it makes me nervous, you have to upgrade to get DOM. It may be better than nothing but may give a false sense of safety to a low information off roader. Beware of bolt to the floor cages that don't have frame connectors under that mount. Never use tubing for a cage that is seam w...

Re: 1990 Go Fast Gorilla

I like that y pipe. What size are the tubes and cost if you don't mind me asking. Thanks. The pass side tube is 2.25" for about the first 6" then goes to 2.5". The drivers side is 2.5" right off the manifold and is 2.5 inches after the y. We sell them at work for about $260 bucks. it also comes wit...

Re: Joxracing's 1996 daily driver

finally got around to starting on the bronco, just tossed my set of ext. radius arms on and deavers, and put a pair of rancho rs5000's on it, and it worked surpsingly well. Looking to start on the cage and messing with cut n turns this winter, in between building another short course truck. Pics to ...

Re: Joxracing's 1996 daily driver

interesting. I think Im gonna start messing with the Bronco this winter. The red '89 is finally at the scrap yard due to the broken frame, so Ill bust out the spare beams I have and dive into the cut n turn in the spare time I have, which will be little to zero because of a wadded up race truck. Re: Joxracing's 1996 daily driver

Do they sell any body stiffners (?) Or anything to remedy that? Or should I just bite the bullet and start planning a cage build and tie it into the body.

What are ya'll running for trans coolers?

Just like the title says... Looking to get an idea of what trans cooler to run for the #505 F150 Stock Truck of ours. It'll be mounted in the "bed" (just bedsides) along with an electric fan. Size, would like to have as big as possible. Is there an extremely large OEM one out there thats a pretty go...
