Re: Heat Shrink Tubing Printer???
The device that prints directly on the wire is a commercial product that is very expensive. That is the tool that wire manufacturers use to do for the original wire for code and size, etc. Test your printer to see how small it can write. If it can make a readable image the size of a 22 ga wire then ...

Re: Hood Struts to replace springs??? Anyone done it yet?
Good to use an $OEM struts$. Difficult to find OEM ones that have the correct specs. My new F150 hood goes up very fast and won't fit any of my rigs. The vendor supplied aftermarket struts are wimpy and short lived. My solution to the short life is more poop. (Just my theory.) On three of my rigs I ...

You should know That Bronco was used once a week for 6 months for 12 years. I consider that heavy use. Your use will not even be close to that.

Re: Fox factory series vs king performance series
Depends on how hard you use the rig.
On my big Bronco I had both King and Fox. No issues with King many issues with Fox. This was over many years of use. I think the latest Fox versions are probably better?

Re: Fuel lines and vacuum diagrams
What I know It will always be less expensive to make your own fuel lines. Broncos have used nylon for a very long time. The nylon is the liner of what looks like hose with a fabric cover. Times have changed regarding fuel lines chemistry. If you can find EFI rubber lines SAE R9 then make your own. C...

Gauges
I have a large collection of gauges. These are all entry level gauges - nothing fancy. Some are digital like the gas gauge and the rest are analog. Tell me your desires and I will reply. Expect low prices just so I do not have to throw them away. Most have instructions and the ones that need senders...

Re: 8-Rib Crank Pulley on 351/5.8??
Good question
Check the serp setup for the ambulances with two alternators, and check the diesel setups with two alternators. Theoretically they both need 8 ribs.
Of course you will need several pulleys to do a conversion.

Re: Gauge cluster issue? ‘96 Powestroke
Not waiting long enough on my '99 causes the fuel gauge to avoid working. I think is might have to do with low voltage to the electrical stuff?
Agree with 300 - replace the diff sensor and see what happens. A common issue that screws up the speedo and ABS if your 96 has that.

Re: Wondering if any gfb peeps have replaced the shell glass
About plastic All plastics scratch easily. very time consuming for repairs. Cannot repair scratches on Lexan. Lexan is the strongest plastic available, but still scratches pretty easy. All plastics attract dust. Glass does not attract dust and can easily be cleaned and is unlikely to need repair or ...
