Re: Advice on Future Suspension Setup

thank you for all of the help so far. It sounds like moving the pinion 1 degree below the transfer case will work? As for the 5150s, what travel and valving should I be looking into? They have got both 11.93 and 14.53 travel options available that come with either 170/60 or 255/70 valving. Remember ...

Re: Advice on Future Suspension Setup

Man this thread got off topic in a hurry! Update- I took the first step towards a new suspension today and bought some J40s through bronco graveyard. I think I am going to try the J40s with 5150s and no 2-link first just to see how that works. Then, depending on how that handles I will decide if I s...

Very nice bronco, I have enjoyed watching this thread. Any updates? Did the new driveshaft fix your problems?

Re: Advice on Future Suspension Setup

Thank you for all of the quick responses, I appreciate it. I should clarify that i will be upgrading my rear suspension before the front. It sounds like the 2-link autofab system is beneficial enough to warrant spending an extra $450, so i will include that in my plan. I would like to stay with 5150...

Re: Advice on Future Suspension Setup

I'm not going to be able to go with the coilover set up due to my budget, but are the 5.5 Deaver coil springs my best option? or should I be looking at something else? I've read that some people aren't happy with these coil springs and C&T beams for some reason. For the rear it sounds like my sugges...

Advice on Future Suspension Setup

So I just graduated from UCSC and am looking to give my bronco some love now that I have more time. Ever since going to Pismo for the meet and greet about a year ago I have really been wanting to follow the broncospeed path. I have multiple issues with it that I am hoping you guys can give me some a...

Go Fast Wannabe

My name is Brad and I followed everybody here from FSB. I'm a senior in college at UCSC, originally from Modesto, and therefore I have no money to spend on Bronco modifications unfortunately. I was always into rock crawling until I went to the Broncospeed meet and greet at Pismo last year and decide...
