Re: Dash Removal 80's
Be very patient and do not allow yourself to have a pair of dykes handy otherwise frustration will show its ugly head. Also be very gentle and dont force anything. 20 year old plastic dont respond well to prybars either.

Re: Some of y'all may know me from FSB
[ No doubt! but the question is can I afford it? You'd think that since I work at a Fab shop it'd be simple huh? Or maybe since I'm going for my associates as a Machinist... But not so simple yet. Besides, I'll get there one day, I'll start with a 6" ttb lift I have and go from there. Oh, and I lik...

Re: HEAT
After modifications ( like the OP's larger radiator) the system might be cooling more efficiently then the stock, making the stock 190 degree thermostat a lil overkill. If the cooling system is operating more efficiently than stock then it needs a thermostat that won't open too early and keep the s...

Re: HEAT
I have a 195 degree t-stat and I would stress the importance of checking the stock plastic vacuum lines. I had some broken inside of the factory convoluted tubing. 180 and 160 t-stats are a bad idea unless you have both a weak cooling system and a reprogrammed ECM. Well I found the High point where...

Re: HEAT
I would recommend a 180 degree thermostat in a EFI system. Why would you use anything other than a stock thermostat in a mostly stock engine? After modifications ( like the OP's larger radiator) the system might be cooling more efficiently then the stock, making the stock 190 degree thermostat a li...

Re: HEAT
One thing before you move on to Tstats, Are the heater core lines stock. If not you can upgrade to a larger diameter on the input and stock or smaller on the output, also how are they routed. keeping the lines mounted as low as possible will help prevent the presence of air in your lines which hurts...

Re: Shock valving/re-building
The shocks in question will be S.A.W. 2.25 10" travel reservoirs, Vehicle is a 85 Bronco with a D44 solid axle, the shock will be one per corner mounted on the stock 76 radius arm and to the stock 85 coil bucket. It will be a daily driver, trail machine, and hopefully still be able to have some go f...

Can't wait to see how it turns out. If you want to keep that front end call John at Autofab. He sells the standard oem style with a 3" larger wheel well opening and a 3" bulge version so you can keep the front grille and headlights the same. Check out my 84 with Autofab fenders: http://www.supermot...
