Re: All Band 100w Radio experience.
In this case, it is not for racing. I definitely prefer real race radios like the Kenwood TK790H or if on a budget, a TK730H. I own both of those and they both work great, the TK730H is a little more difficult to get programmed, but a computer literate person with Windows XP experience can get it to...

Re: 12v power for switch pros
The Switch Pro is basically a solid-state relay. If you wire it properly there should be a power supply directly from the battery. This is the power to supply all your lights and accessories. Then you have the Light Blue wire, which is a ignition sensor trigger wire. It turns the Switch Pro unit on ...

Re: Random updates... what are you working on?
Nice, I have a CT330 stroker motor in my 250r. I completely rebuilt it, split the case's and put a NOS CT top end. I have a 2006 Honda trx450er with a stage 2 hot cam I ride now and love it and electric start is nice now that I am in my 50's. I have too many toy's, I have the 450, a 400ex, a 1990 Y...

Ok, I found some Spicer 35 spline outer conversion kits with everything but they are listed for a Ford F350 1978-1997 Dana 60 35 Spline Chromoly Outer Axle Shaft Conversion Kit. Do you think they will work on a Dana 50 Hub and knuckle? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240119/5ceac39903b5663d011162...

Re: New twist on an old front end.
I like it. Great work, I think Andrew Cho it doing something similar. I do like the idea of getting rid of the ball joints. I wonder what maintenance and the life of the unibals would be on an everyday driver? I would consider uniball rubber dirt and water seals to keep them clean. I have run covers...

Scoop or side Vent for transmission coolers
Ok, I know you are saying, another post From David [emoji15][emoji24] Ok, the topic is about putting Transmission coolers on the side of a Bronco behind the door behind the quarter panel. I saw Brandon Hollander had vents built into his Bronco quarter panels and he said it was a lot of work. I may b...

Re: Spring rate questions
I have not tuned my Fox 2.5x16 coilover's with 2.5x16 bypass yet, but I have 400x16, 450x16 and 500x16 springs to choose from. On Chris Wilson's Class 3 Early Bronco with a 1990 chassis under it, Glen ran 500 over 500 with 14 inch shocks and the spring length was 14 inches each, upper and lower. I a...

Re: Aluminum Beadlock conversion
Love it[emoji106] My plan for now is to look for a set of the old 8 lug 16.5x9.75 aluminum slotted mag wheels. I already run BFG Baja 37X12.50R16.5LT ON my F350 and like them. I can get nos 100% new for $300 each and used 90% tread for $125-150 each. My Bronco is a Off-Road toy and won't see much st...

Re: Narrowed dana 60/ corp 14 bolt vs 9"
I know this is a old thread, but I can't sleep and bored. [emoji6] Has anyone used a 08 F350 rear axle. I found a deal on one from a gas truck with 4.10 gears and the factory e-locker for $650 +$150 shipping. It has a 123k miles. I have read on other forums the 05+ axles were better with 35 spline a...

Re: D50/D44 Go Fast TTB – Gathering Ideas
As I am looking for Dana complete knuckles from a 95-97 F250, they are hard to find. I have heard the Dana 60 knuckles should bolt right on. I do want to run the 35 spline outer axles. Has anyone done that swap on the Dana 50 TTB. I like the 1999 Superduty auto hubs with the manual lock backup. It w...

Re: Engine Builder and Machine shop
My issue is the Bronco will see mostly sand dunes, so higher RPM'S and tire speed is needed and paddle tires will get used eventually, so that is where torque may come into play I think. I will probably run 37X12.50R Baja TA tires buffed and have Scat Track hauler paddles installed. Probably 8 or 10...

Is there a possibility that you can get an app from Lowrance that turns a tablet/iPad into a GPS- maybe with a wireless gps lowrance style dome antenna ? I still run a couple of the old Lowrance 5in mono chromatic GPS. The use the .use files. I got them back in early 2000 and I use to prerun and Mark the MDR courses back then. I always had fun making detailed GPS maps out at Plaster City and in Baja. I was thinking of getting a Garmin USB GPS antenna...

Engine Builder and Machine shop
I am thinking about my motor for the Bronco. I am looking for a builder that can either rebuild a 351w with all the proper clearances and upgrades for a 408w stroker. I can source the major parts, but I am not experienced in V8 building. I use to rebuild 2 stroke dirtbike motors growing up. I am goi...

Superduty Knuckle on a Dana 50 TTB
I was wondering if anyone has put a unit bearing knuckle from a F350 to a Dana 50 TTB front axle. I have a 1999 f350 and I like the automatic hub lock, but it still has a manual lock on the hubs. I have Dana 50 beam ends, but I have not welded them in yet. I was wondering if the Superduty knuckles w...
