Re: The Beast
The last 2 days I worked on the front bumper. Here is what I came up with, it still needs some work and more support. http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/1056265/fullsize/phil-100--copy.jpg http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/1056266/fullsize/phil-102--copy.jpg http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/10562...

Alternator wiring, I think i failed
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Nndq1ZFwmUQ&feature=youtube_gdata_player So my alternator is not working, and the wiring was incomplete in the donor vehicle. It looks like the alternator you would find in an 89 f250, I do not know what alternator I have, it is way different than the one that was in my...

Re: What kind of oil should i run in a stroker motor?
http://www.enginebuildermag.com/2013/06/hello-world/ This is an interesting article! "Motor oils contain zinc and phosphorus as high-pressure anti-wear additives. But in recent years, the amount of ZDDP (zinc dialkyl dithiophosphate) that is allowed in street oils has been reduced to prolong the li...

Re: What kind of oil should i run in a stroker motor?
Right on, thanks for the info! I have always done the 10 40, 20 50 regimen myself. I think i might do the 50w summer, 15-50 winter on this motor. I have a 408w also but .060 over so really its a 414. It has a block from a crown vic police interceptor that is supposed to tolerate big bore a little be...

Re: Stroker motor talk!-Threads merged

Heads, small cam, weiland stealth, holley 750, 10.3cr, forged pistons. It sat and the gas went bad, this is the first time i got it running decently, more tuning to c...

Re: Push button 4x4 problems
Im pretty sure that last time i tried it, the nss was still on there. I think i removed the whole harness that the nss was attached to, i wonder if there are two wires i could jumper together to fool it into thinking it has the nss.

Re: Bilstein questions.
You should be able to use the 4" lift ones. I put those exact shocks on my bronco, and blew all 4 of them within 1 hour of installation. I think I needed longer bumpstops. And they don't survive long when you are murdering it through huge whoops.
