Re: Rod's 84 BabyBajaF100
Very early 400s in Canada have dual bolt patterns, the ones that came with FMX transmissions used smallblock bellhousings, all others were 385 family pattern, 75 and 76 blocks are cast for both, but only drilled and threaded for the big pattern. Re: The Gun Thread
I've had a Winchester defender for 15 years never had any issues. What length shells are you trying to shoot? I'd start by checking shell length and compare it to spec sheet by the mfg. I would also oil it really well with rem oil or Lucas firearm lube. Check eBay for the ejector assembly parts. Yo...

Re: The Gun Thread
What can you tell me about Winchester Defender shotguns?
My cousin has one, it jams if rapid fired, either not feeding, or failing to eject.
Google tells me that they were prone to bent ejectors and breaking ejector springs.
Anyone ever had one apart?

Does the law frown on hunting from the cab of the truck Rod? In my area they will bust you for both spotlighting and shooting from the cab. Robert, I NEVER hunt from the road in my truck, as it is highly illegal. I only shoot from the truck on private property. Generally, as a rule, during the day,...

Cool story on the 22. My grandfathers first 22 was given to his wifes baby brother Arch, it was a Winchester made in 1908 and now it lives with my cousin a mile away. Maybe I should get a box of 22lr and go visit. I can still remember great uncle Arch talking about how his wife could shoot like Anni...

I decided to not protect them and I just buy new stock mirrors as required. Yup I hit trees and bushes with my mirrors and the plastic ...
