You might be close to right on what you have into the Crew already. 12 valves aren't cheap and neither is the work you've got into it.

The Robby Gordon '66 F100 prerunner time traveler truck is awesome! I didn't even notice the shaved drip rails so I think it looks pretty cool since it doesn't stand out.

Haha! Thank you! Just wanted to set the record straight. He was only checking his oil and then the Bronco or Ford haters started using it to poke fun at us. Hopefully that will silence them.

Re: GFB on instagram

With social media, you can't let time go by. Part of my job is social media (I realize now just how stupid people really can be) for a few publications and there's an instagram page with a name of one of our pubs and we didn't create it so it's technically not ours and never was. Just kind of the ha...

Re: Roll Cages... multiple threads merged

Solo's cage should be bad ass. I'm definitely jumping on that one early on. Their work is top notch and they're super cool dudes to deal with. As far as poly mounting the cage.. I've ridden in Tony's Bronco and it's seriously nice not feeling any weird vibrations through the floorboards. My GMC has ...

I'd say this thread is officially derailed.... but only because now I'm thinking about jack stands too, haha!

To build or to buy?

Who makes the coolest ones and what do they cost?

Re: Drop Pitman Arm or Stock w/ C&T

Augi bs aside: the factory tie rod configuration radius length will intersect. The raising and lowering of the pitman arm and the tierod flip, or through bolted hiems like mine on factory stuff will all have the exact same characteristics. All your proposing is raising or lowering the inevitable to...

Re: Drop Pitman Arm or Stock w/ C&T

Hey Augie I know its been discussed but take a look at jbfabs truck. The tie rod flip maybe something to look into as well. I mean you need to check for clearance. Itd ease the angle on the outer tie rod ends. I have considered this method as well but then its a whole new ball game. Currently I fee...

Re: Drop Pitman Arm or Stock w/ C&T

I'm going to say - looks like someone's bronco is getting some work done - nice! And I too dig those stands. I need to replace my non folding ones with folding ones like those. Hey Steve! Had a bunch of work done by Solo Motorsports and I've wheeled it a bit. I really dig it. I don't go too fast in...

Re: Drop Pitman Arm or Stock w/ C&T

I don't actually. I've got a short term memory and if we were at odds about this, it's all gravy.

Jack stands are cool for sure. Unfortunately they aren't mine. They're some of the ones that Solo Motorsports has.

Lets see more pictures because I'm simple minded and love pictures, haha!

Re: Drop Pitman Arm or Stock w/ C&T

The yellow line is what I would arbitrarily say is where stock would be. Red is with 4-inch and green is with a 6-inch drop.

Keep in mind this is just for a stock width C&T TTB.

Drop Pitman Arm or Stock w/ C&T

I've discussed this with other members on here in the past and was hoping we could see some pictures of people's steering setup to see how they work. Here's a photo to show what mine looks like with a drop-pitman arm.

Lets see more...

Re: Bronco Running Lean

So my buddy got the Bronco running right but he had to replace the distributor to oil pump shaft because it was bent. Not quite sure how it happened or how it even ran limping around at 30 mph for over 70 miles total, 30 of which were through desert that was full of sand and even some silt beds. I'l...

Re: Going wider

How about a 4 cylinder YJ then? Hell even a 4.0 is good. The best part is when the modification bug bites you on it, you can build it into a 4-door Wrangler. Can't be much harder than a stretch Bronco. As far as the Rockwells go, the idea is growing on me but don't be putting bad thoughts in my head.

Re: Going wider

One thing to keep in mind as mentioned before, the beauty of your Bronco is that its a sleeper and a clean one at that and it handles like a dream in the tough so why mess with your signiture trademark?

If you did buy a '97-'01 F-150, would it eventually evolve into a go-fast build?
