in order to fund my project, i picked up a 2nd job for the next 2 months...
this is day 3 of my 90hr week...and im feelin' it. :cry:
up @ 4am...out by 3pm...then on to the next gig @ 4pm till "whenever im done"

sucks...but, anything for my baby!

thanks...im still sittin on footage from just about every other baja race since then...
including every KOH race and the 1st NORRA!
but i just havent had the time to make another.
(i spent 100+ hrs cutting the 2007 race)

Got it back today. I have to say there's a huge difference. Shifts fast and firm. For $2600 I got: New billet torque converter Shift kit More springs in accumulators Upgrade reverse boost valve Improved lube ports in the pump New design center shaft support with bearing instead of bushing Upgraded ...

last year the antenna on my 540 went bad - seemingly for no reason @ all. it just stopped working. :evil: then @ the 500 in 2010 i was hanging with my CHECKER pals who had a booth @ contingency next to the LOWRANCE booth (how lucky) so i sauntered over (thats right) and asked if they would troublesh...

that explains it...i saw @ least ONE urethane bushing on EACH side had split in one place or another. :roll:

so "ELVIRA" will be headed off the to the shop for some GOFAST parts next month...but in the meantime, i noticed my stock arms were loose. theyre not gonna fall off or anything, but there is "play" & you can hear a clunk every time i hit a bump or flex the front. :shock: a couple weeks ago i had her...

3-4" of height in the front should give you plenty of bump travel, which is important for a nice and safe ride. Unless you linked in the back, the rear will limit your speed before the front will. Even if you are linked the drive shaft will become the limiting factor. I don't know what you guys pre...
