Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Mounted the third seat today. All removable using the factory bench mounting points so the bench can be put back in, or everything pulled for camping. Bummed i wont get to enjoy fun 3 seat whoop eating parties. https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8655/15678007819_37fb224119_b.jpg https://farm8.staticflic...

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Thanks It's just 2 in 1 rustoleum rattlecan I'll get better pictures up but got the parts back from powdercoat, geared diff back, and assembled the front end and drove it. This thing is so epicly fun even on the street. Kills me https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xap1/v/t1.0-9/1068694...

Re: 1994 Caged Bronco Prerunner

Sold :(
Super bummed, but have to remind myself it had to happen. Too many projects
Will be finishing up a few things on it, and the new owner will be flying up at the end of the month.

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Didn't get the beams back from powdercoat yet, and headed down to so-cal this weekend so i'll have to get it together early next week. Did get most of everything else done up front though. Machined 2 sets of delrin bushings for the engine cage crossover https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3947/1566879429...

1994 Caged Bronco Prerunner

1994 Bronco XLT Prerunner Really hate to sell, as this Bronco is incredibly fun, but I need the money to finish the race truck and settle down a little bit with all the projects. I am currently daily driving this Bronco. It handles very well for a Bronco, and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it across t...

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Plated all the beam pivots on the frame. Cut off the old quick and easy shock tabs. Made new tabs. Much mo betta. Cleaner, stronger. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3945/14992601844_7bb9a36fe3_b.jpg Now all that's left is a tad bit more clean up, powder coat, and re-assembly. After I re-paint the fra...

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Lathe'd down the cups, lathe'd down some misalignments, measured out for the uniballs to replicate old bushing placement (hopefully i nailed it as i well as i think), tacked in the uniballs, cycled the beams on the bronco, celebrated an extremely smooth cycle from bump to strap with no changes or cl...

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

I thought about rigging up the home saw in such a way but worried it would turn into a waste of time being that the home needed is the same diameter as the wall of the bushing deal do I went at it with the plasma and cutoff. One side is done and the other is close. Lots of fire grinding! The home sa...

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Been slammed at work building racetruck stuffs during the week and welding ultra-4's back together on the weekend. Was able to spend today eating grinding dust though. Because i seem to care more about the fab on my trucks than actually using the trucks for what they're intended for... i decided to ...

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Things escalated Saturday. Got slammed at work and doing PIT support at races next couple weekends right after i dropped the whole front end to re-do nearly everything. Sooo she may be a hover craft for a couple weeks. Borrowing buddy's TT in the mean time. Reasons for tearing the front end down... ...

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

$8,500 and she can be yours. Brother has priority at a discounted price if he chooses to take the reigns of the big B. I'm bummed, this thing is epicly fun in every way shape and form. Im stoked to drive it to and from work everyday still. However... Fummins, race truck, and bronco is just too much....

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Driver mirror was cracked pretty good so i put a new mirror on. Its super shiny. Much like. No picture of the mirror though, only the extraction process of the broken mirror bolt. https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3937/15474832725_c3376804c3_b.jpg Scooped some SwayAWay 2.5 14's so i can finally have da...

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Yep limit strap for the engine. Its crazy how much almost every engine torques over, and how often motor mounts split because of it. Trick is to put the limit strap on it TIGHT. You need to "preload" it a bit. Limit straps stretch. With my foot on the brake and stabbing the gas, the engine BARELY mo...

Re: Trevor's 94 Project

Really out did myself this time.
Instead of working on getting the hood back on, I decided to tame the beast and keep her locked down where she belongs.
