Re: Mark Keifer pedophile
Damn some good thoughtful posts after the initial mud slinging. With that said, I agree with chasetrucks, keep this info out in the open. I don't think anyone wants Mark's head on a silver platter, I just think some people believe serious stuff like this should be known aka out in the open for peopl...

Re: Mark Keifer pedophile
For a bunch of grown men on a drama free forum I am truly and quite disappointed with some of these responses.
Having said that, I don't have a dog in this fight, BUT can anyone access/show public records proving he plead guilty or is his conviction still pending?

Re: Trans mount
Greaslife that's the same looking mount as my 84 with a C6 fyi. I know cause I broke the stud off that comes though the cross member. Drilled out out tapped it for a course thread 7/16 bolt. Threaded the bolt in the mount till three threads of bolt stuck out inside the rubber mount part. I then mig ...

Re: Tire Pressure
Man you guys running street pressure in the dirt don't know what you are missing. I like that little extra squish when aired down tires in the dirt, plus the added traction is nice too. 35" BFG A/T's 35psi'ish on the street (I like to play with tire pressure to get the tire wear good across the trea...

Re: Tail gate tire carrier promblems.
Flip that part that mounts the tire on the rack which will give you better vision out the rear window and lower the tire. Build a rear bumper that supports the spare tire and adds preload so the load is taken off the body. I am pretty confident I have more hard miles then most Bronco owners and hav...

Re: Mike's Ocho Cuatro Bronco build aka White Lightning
Shift feels notchy, clutch needs more bleeding I am sure. Running ATF to clean it out, then switching to Redline MTL. More updates from the weekend. It's been raining off and on and somehow the moisture has rusted my fiberglass hood???? http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d49/m00n63/Bronco%20Build/683...

Re: Mike's Ocho Cuatro Bronco build aka White Lightning
IDK yet actually. I need more seat time. I only drove it for 20 minutes since is was so late. I can tell you though it sure it nice to be able to cruise on the highway at a decent rpm. The trans did look like it had the stock oil in it from who knows how long and even after changing the fluid it doe...

Re: Mike's Ocho Cuatro Bronco build aka White Lightning
Went to the pull yard today and left with quite a bit of shit. Thanks again for all your help Elliott. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d49/m00n63/Bronco%20Build/A20B19A1-49C2-4CCF-9A00-AAA23C51E9C3-3502-00000454623933B1.jpg And finally bronco is back up and running. Five speed swap is pretty legit...

Re: 95 Bronco Build!
Let me know if you are interested in a 4.56 geared 9" diff and all the stuff to swap in a full reverse manual valve body C6 including a cooler, the shifter, trans, temp gauge, etc. basically everything to get it together!

Re: Over the head v.s. behind the head
I've had bad experience with behind the head ones this far, they squeeze your head too much and give you a headache like mentioned. Try them on before you buy.

Re: Mike's Ocho Cuatro Bronco build aka White Lightning
Nice! I wonder how much different it will be rowing through the gears especially for off road driving. Sorry for not responding earlier. I viewed your response on my phone and forgot to answer it later. I think it's gonna be great, specially for a short wheelbase vehicle like a bronco. The added co...

Re: Mike's Ocho Cuatro Bronco build aka White Lightning
Rear end is back together. Went from a stock 9" rear end, with an open diff and 4.56's to some new (to me :)) Currie 35 spline axles, and a new (this time it really is new) Strange Nodular case, Yukon Grizzly locker, Daytona pinion support, new 4.56's, basically a bad ass new diff!!! http://i32.phot...

Re: Mike's Ocho Cuatro Bronco build aka White Lightning
More progress. If I wasn't going away this weekend I could probably have it all buttoned up minus the driveshaft (it needs to be shortened) In this pictures you can see the new transmission and also see the transmission cross member had to be moved back for the longer transmission. http://i32.photob...
