1993 Ford Bronco XLT 5.8L-ABQ, NM
Owned since 3/2020. Passed CA smog when I bought it and NM smog in late 2022. Selling it as it does not fit in with the type of wheeling we do and would rather see it get used then sit. 216,918 miles $18,000 OBO Modifications • F and R axles rebuilt (Moog ball joints, all bearings) and regeared to 4...

Re: Cargo/tool storage solutions.
Great set up! I did exactly the same thing (Mac's and Frontrunners) but put the tie down strips parallel to the cargo area with one on either side and one in the middle behind the rear seat latch. My bronco is multi purpose- pick up truck, home depot/dump, preoverlander- so I wanted the most options...

Re: Fox 2.0 performance shocks
I assume this is for the rear bc you mention stock upper mount? I have a Threat upper shock mount to put on and am going to put on some Bilstein 5165s. My bronco will never be a prerunner and only has a front leveling coil so it should be plenty of damping for me.

Re: First Bronco
Ordered the Desolate DIY center console. Got it mounted up and installed my Garmin Overland mount as well as a switch panel. Next up is the Rugged Radio 50w radio and external speaker (Thanks Steve!).

Re: First Bronco
Fully re-did the brakes. The passenger side wheel cylinder was leaking badly which probably explains the pull when hard braking. Rear- New wheel cylinders, shoes, drums and hardware. Front-New Centric calipers and heavy duty pads as well as Rough Country extended lines for a 4" lift. I'm only curren...

Re: First Bronco
Been slacking on updating this thread so heres what I've been doing: When I purchased it it had cheap aftermarket steps on it that were quickly removed. Now with the lift and bigger tires its hard to get into, especially for my gf on the passenger side. Eventually I will get some sliders made and in...

Re: Rear shock mounts
Thanks! So about 3"s higher than my stock springs. Raptor shocks might work well for me then assuming they're compressed length is short enough.

What rear springs are you running?ThrustMaster wrote: ↑Fri Sep 11, 2020 8:14 amI have the threat one and like it so far. Running gen 1 raptor shocks and stock axle mounts and they are limiting droop travel at the moment. i have lots of work to do though.

Re: Rear shock mounts
Bringing this back instead of starting a new thread. Researching rear mounts and theres lots of options with very different price points- Solo, Desolate, Threat. Solo doesn't offer overlay plates (1/4" plate for side plates) and the other two do. Other than that they look basically the same. So is i...

Re: First Bronco
Got it back from my local shop with the new radius arm and pivot bushings plus the adjustable alignment cams and most importantly- a good alignment. Man its almost a new truck- no wandering or pulling, returns to center properly and the ride has tightened up and also smoothed out a little. Next up- ...

Re: First Bronco
Since the last post I have replaced the rear sway bar end links. I know most think it's not really worth it like the front but figured that most go fast off road rigs have a rear sway bar so for a little investment it'd be worth trying it out. Got new moog end links and bushings and they installed p...
