Re: Deaver Coils bend inwards?

Replace the bolt that rubs with a bevel head allen bolt. Just bevel the hole so it sits flush. Most allens are grade 8 so you wont loose any strength.

Re: Bronco Brake upgrade options

I tried a e series disk that slides on from the front very nicely. But it causes two issues, 1 the disk width is small so the piston sticks out a bit. This worries me when the pads wear that it will pop out and i will loose brakes. Two with the e disk it moves my caliper mount to close to the origin...

Re: Bronco Brake upgrade options

Ok quick question for ya's. I have bin working on my rear axle tacking everything on. Got to the caliper mounts and the best way to get them to work properly is to mount the disk to the backside of the axle flang. There are front rotors mounted on the rear. Can anyone foresee a major issue with moun...

Re: Rear shock mounts

Honestly the fab on these isnt hard. I have about $50 in materials into mine, i couldnt justify the $450 price tag. Think i have about 3-4 hours into it with cycling. Getting a little over 16" with 12" shocks. Its not a pickup but not realy a bronco either. http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/j...

Who was making fabricated core supports.

There was a fella floating around that made fabricated core supports. I think yogi gave me his info a few years ago but that is long gone. Anyone know how to get ahold of that person? Thanks in advance.

Re: solomotorsports basic or threatmotorsoprts d44 kit

I had a fast turn around when i had solo do my c&t beams. Just over a week, keep in mind i had to ship them from PA and they had to ship them back. When intalked with them over the phone and through emails they laid out all my options with prices and we went from there. I would bet I am the farthest...

Re: rear caliper options, need specific info

Whatever rotor slip fits over the front could be made to fit the back by idling in gear on jack-stands and turning down the flange to the same OD as the flange on the front hubs with an angle grinder. It's not exactly a hard to do or expensive process so spare axles wouldn't be a problem. I did tha...

Re: rear caliper options, need specific info

So while we are on the subject. What is a slip on vented rotor that will fit the 8.8 axle flange without an mods. I have a dodge rotor and its close but still needs machining to make it work. Im not against running them on the backside if its an option. If I would do so what wheel studs should i use...

Re: Need End-mill Notcher Vice Ideas.....

I can say i have made hundreds of notches with my Hf notcher. With a few small test peices the offset can be taken out with washers. Biggest issue i had was the housing bending which i fixed with some angle iron. The bushings are wore out a bit now but still makes a tight enough notch. I'm happy wit...

Sunvisor's with roll cage problem solved.

Was having a hard time figuring out what to do about sunvisors with the roll cage. I knew factory ones wouldnt work very well and still look decent. So while on karteks site i noticed they sell visors for roll cages @ $110 a peice. Took there idea and ran with it a little. I have about $20 into both...

Re: Replacing worn out factory body mounts. Poly? aluminum? Or?

I found my set on ebay for about $70. Think i got daystar and they came with ones for the core support. But i also got the f150 kit since mine is a four door bronco. Im also keeping the poly bushings with my cage. Im mounting the cage to the frame using bushed sleeves. Just trying to eliminate some ...
