Re: 15 inch or 17 inch Rim
I love the look of 17's with 35s. Its an equals out the rim to rubbers ratio. 17" of rim and 18" of rubber.

Re: Modified Coil Buckets
Lol i know what your saying. I already had deaver coils and a new set of 250 shock mounts. It snowballed into what you see above. I just couldnt justify trying to get my money back on new parts. I did manage to get 17" of travel out of this setup, would have bin more but my axle shafts are maxed out.

Re: Modified Coil Buckets
Heres mine. Its a set of duff long buckets with about a 2" L added to keep the same hight and wrap under the frame. I added a hoop but you could just as easily add the f250 shock mounts. I think they are like $20 each from ford. http://i1100.photobucket.com/albums/g416/john666boy/2445A5CF-4A54-4EA2-...

Re: Rear Exploder Disc Brake ???
I have the explorer setup but dont run an e brake. I had the rotors machined at a local shop. Draw back was i had to 45 the face of my axle flang. Im ditching it, using a ruffstuff caliper bracket (weld on) using 86 bronco front rotors and chevy calipers. Some two pistons are available from wilwood....

I always wanted to make a glass skin for mine. Wont save much weight but it will never rust.

Re: Giant 8.8 Trussed Diff Cover
There is room on my rig for a top truss, its only about 1" above the center section. A 9" would be awesome but theres also the vss relocation kit. Thats anouther $300 and will be in the same space as my tcase ebrake. I also have alot of money laying around for my 8.8 that i wont get back trying to s...

Re: How Thick is a REAL Skidplate???
In high school we would bumper tag on the way to lunch. 3 of us had fullsizes and 1 ranger. I pushed the ranger into an intersection at a red light with my f150 once and thought it was hilarious. That buddy is now a cop and due to our shenanigans in HS he let alot of stuff slide with the new genera...

Re: Offroad LIghts -How Many on One Switch??
Since i have only three lights i run the center off of one switch and the outers off of anouther. Gives me a mix of how bright i want it. One light ok, two lights better or all three best.

Re: Powering Lights w/ Factory Fuse Box??
Ive used the empty spots in my under hood fuse box. Went to the yard and grabbed some ends for the box and the firewall bulkhead. Made every thing disapear into the factory wiring. I wouldnt run lights off of those fuse's but it does make a good location for smaller amp accessories that also need a ...

Re: TTB 5 lug to 6 lug
I cant see how you could use chevy pads. Its still a ford ttb with ford calipers. The number of lugs wouldnt change which pads you could use. Would just chance the disk's which i cant see how a chevy or ford replacemnet would be better then the other. Would honestly make finding parts harder. Imho g...
