Some input on your fender plans. There is no inner liner to use as a support on the front fenders and its better to just build in fender supports. On the rear i wouldn't recommend bonding them on. There is no place that they sit flat on the original sheet metal. Most people, me included, use fender ...

#1 would be my choice, i just got done fixing rust on my 85 and it's not bad but there is always more hiding beyond what you can see.

the q80's sit pretty high, so only use them if you plan on haveing a good amount of weight in the rear.

Yes, its running now, but still unhappy with the performance but oh well.

Yes, as current is applied to the coil the valve opens allowing fluid to flow with less restriction. I am currently working on something to make the adjustment manual. Unfortunately with the livewire system inactive the shocks are too firm to be useable.

What is everyone running for transmission crossmembers with extended radius arms? I am struggling with ideas for how to set mine up so that it works well with my radius arm brackets and exhaust.

made more progress, finished up the drivers side. on to the passengers side.

Had to rear work the shock mount a bit, but am happy with it now. The damn master cylinder is right where i want to put my upper mounts.

Got the beams on and did some cycling. pretty happy with the bump travel so far.

Got the beams mocked up and working on radius arm mount locations. I had to cut off the old side pipe mufflers, won't miss those.

Driver's side beam is done, finally...

Cool stuff! I want to widen a set of beams next time I have one apart. Seems straight forward enough. Whats your plan for axles? And are you acounting for the lift with moving the balljoint or are you building it into the splice on the beams? It's a lot of work and patience. I built 2 degrees of ca...
