I got mine from Bronco Graveyard. Completely happy with it. Here is a How To Tech Article that I wrote up:

Re: Need Ideas for a 393 stroker build
MOSS2 is right. It kinda' depends on what your goals are. Mine where to have the highest torque at the lowest rpm, emissions friendly and pump gas compatable. I also wanted all forged internals with a completely balanced rotating system. Then you want to match your cam and compression ratio with th...

Re: Need Ideas for a 393 stroker build
BBK 56mm Twin Throttle Body I would think the 393 would make use of the extra cfm, no? Mmmm.... no. At least not any more cfm that I could effectively use. Your air flow restrictions are elsewhere. I already had a BBK 56mm Twin Throttle Body which can support up to 570 hp and can flow approximately...

Re: Msd 6 offroad install?
I am using the MSD 6A Capacitive Multiple Spark Discharge box. At low RPM's, my performance 6.7L runs good without it, but runs great with it. What I like about the MSD is their MSD 6 to Ford TFI Install Harness, which allows me to easily bypass the MSD Box if it ever fails. Eezy peezy. MSD 8874 htt...

No PSPS in a 5.8L. Only in the MAP 5.0L with either E4OD or Mazda M5OD-R2 5-Speed Manual Overdrive.

Re: Motor mounts
Hey Seattle, I have a performer intake thats supposed to go on when I find some heads. How gnarly of an issue is the fire wall to intake clearance? Did the trans mount tilt your buddies motor far enough that the bfh method wasn't needed? Is yours a 5.8 or 5.0? Glad I read your post before I found o...

Re: Motor mounts
I have been using the JBG Super Duty Poly Mounts and they have been great with my high torque stroker. They do raise the engine approximately 1/2"+ which has created a firewall clearance issue for the Edelbrock Truck Performer Intake Manifold. And I have not been satisfied with the BFH "adjustment" ...

Re: HOW TO TEST A EGR
I am certain that you have checked for vacuum leaks, you are tuned up and the timing is within spec. Is that the only code your are getting? If you can rule out the above, keep reading. An EGR Code can be the result of a bad TPS (Throttle Postion Sensor). See this link: Throttle Position Sensor Man...

Re: 96 5.8 skips a beat
Stalled out tonight at a stop light on the way home from school. Fired right back up w/o any issues. I would assume that a fuel pump or regulator issue would be more obvious at higher RPM where more fuel is needed and invisable at idle where less is needed. I'll try and find an adapter for my fuel ...

Re: Need Ideas for a 393 stroker build
Anyone have any ideas on what size injectors would be good for a 393 stroker? I don't want to run the biggest available since it probably would have issues idling. I'm guessing the stock injectors are the 19 lbs/hr. I'm thinking the 24 lb/hr. injectors might be the suitable choice. Time for you to ...

Re: EFI Tech and removing "Unecessary" Components
Thanks Chris, my error for lack of clarification. The 1995 is EEC-IV OBD-I and the 1996 is EEC-V OBD-II, which has an upgraded diagnostics program used by the EEC-V PCM. This is applicable to 1996 government regulations and requires an new test plug called the Diagnostic Link Connector. http://www.s...

Re: EFI Tech and removing "Unecessary" Components
So there is no way to pin point what years have sequential and or MAF? Specifically regarding Ford Bronco, Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) 5.0L - 1985 5.8L - 1988 Roller Ready Block 5.0L - 1985 5.8L - 1994 Mass Air Flow (MAF) 5.0L - 1994 5.8L - 1995 (California) 5.8L - 1996 OBD II 5.0L - 1996 5.8L ...

Re: Having rough idle/High idle
First thing I would look at is the IAC (Idle Air Controller) mounted on the side of your throttle body. https://www.supermotors.net/getfile/853886/fullsize/idle-air-controller-(iac).jpg Remove the harness connector and check for approximately 5v reference voltage with key-on. Then remove the IAC and...

Re: 96 5.8 skips a beat
Yup the 2 pin connector at the bottom of the coil had a loose pin. No Ford code for for no spark. Found the same thing on the 96 5.8 and the 92 5.0. Dumb mee I replaced all teh ign stuff on the 96 and nothing made it work until the pin was discovered. PaulW Paul, you are right on track. The TFI Coi...

Mickey Thompson/Alcoa Wheel Identifiction and Rehabilitation

My original Mickey Thompson/Alcoa 6061-T6 aluminum 1-piece Hot Forged wheels were definitely in need of professional rehabilitation due to 20 years of impregnated bra...
