Re: 1990 Ford150 4x4 "Bajamobile"
Walter, I had always been told 350/450 were the magic numbers. I did a bunch of research before going with that coil set up. Probably slightly different with that nice new bypass set up, but I'm not sure I'd venture too far off that mark. Especially considering the way you flog the living %^&* out o...

Re: The Secoitus
Nice. Don't love my tundra enough to put much $ into it, but let me know if you're gonna ditch those stock running boards, and if so how much you'd want for them. The ones on my tundra are fuuuuuugly and those would help me hate its looks a bit less. Also, what kind of mileage you getting in that? ...

Re: The Secoitus
‘Secoitus’ lololol ditching the extra seats for more room for gear/sleeping? Yup. I wanted to be able to lock up a surfboard without having to put it on top of the seats. There's a ton of cargo space now, even with the bench back there. I can fit up to a 7'6" surfboard behind the passenger seat now...

Re: The Secoitus
It's no Bronco, but she'll do for now. If/when time and money permit I may go back and build another F150 or just try and get Walter to sell the Bajamobile back to me : )

The Secoitus
I had the Sexpedition (see my other thread) for a while, which I ended up dumping a bunch of money into just to keep it on the road. I'm a die hard Ford guy, but I was tapped out after that clunker. With a baby on the way, I wanted to get another similar sized SUV that was comparable to the Expediti...

Here's a couple more for ya, Pat. The guy who bought it off me had big plans. Looks like he's been making progress.

Damn. I had my eye on this thing when it was on Craigslist. Was a steal for what's been done already.

The Sexpedition
So I got engaged and had to sell the Bronco to help fund the damn wedding that's coming up in October. Ended up getting a 2003 4x4 Expedition (Eddie Bauer...no big deal) after I sold the Bronco. Found this thing down in San Diego for a really good price. 140k miles, leather, 3rd row seating. Really ...

Re: 2000 Mercury Mountaineer Build
Someone on here did a TTB Mountaineer a while back. Saw it up for sale on Craigslist maybe a year ago for around 10k. If you could track it down, I'd say sell yours and buy that one. Probably save a lot of money, sweat and headaches. That's coming from a broke, lazy, and mechanically inept point of ...

Re: Tina Turner
Tina went to a new home on Saturday night. New owner was a good dude and sounds like he has lots of upgrades in mind. I told him he should come on here and keep the thread going. Very bittersweet to say the least, but had a lot of fun with her. Now time to be a grown up for a bit and figure out the ...

Re: Tina Turner
Otter, I'll trade you for a TTB expedition... I've got the old girl for sale if anyone is genuinely interested. I love this thing but finding the time to take her to Mex is dwindling. Surf checks and grocery runs aren't what she's built to do and I think I need to rearrange the priorities, unfortuna...
