Re: Looking for a NorCal/Reno fabricator

Thank you for the great list Nick! I’ll make some calls! The steering seems like a fairly straight forward install, but I cut the old tube bumper and frame horns off after an accident so the bolt on bumpers are out of the question for me now. Would’ve loved to get desolates new bolt on. Let me know...

Re: Looking for a NorCal/Reno fabricator

You have a few options. First would be Samco Fabrication. Sam got his start with Rod Hall. He races and so do his employees. His last fab guy went onto Menzies as fab/ co driver. Sam, Alex and co are great guys. I have gone to multiple races with these guys as support in NV as well as Baja. Another...

No doubt. I am from So Cal so I'm a big fan of Solo and Desolate. Had some things shipped up by Desolate just recently.

Re: Looking for a NorCal/Reno fabricator

Would love to know the same. I am in Reno and haven't found anyone yet. I did have Folbeck do a driveshaft for me and they did good work with that, but I would love a Ford/TTB specialist.

Re: 351w 5.8 long block

There's that all Ford yard in Anaheim. They're pretty small and no idea what their inventory looks like these days but you could give them a call. Those guys are expensive is the only thing like damn near new part prices Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Honestly, I don't think I ever found what I...

Re: Lets talk seats.

I love the idea. My stock rear bench is rarely in the seated position so having something that could be removed relatively easily like yours is awesome.

Re: Lets talk seats.

The man with all the answers! That is exactly what was thinking but with 2 buckets or a bench. And crazy to know the stock bench weighs that much! The PRP seats are only like 5 lbs each it seems. They feel SOOO light compared to the stock stuff. Yes, I agree! Fabbing a mount similar to that but for...

Bummer about the PRP seats since they offer so much customization in regards to colors and materials. I was also looking at a set of the Enduros for the Bronco.

I also have one waiting to be installed. Just finished painting it last week. Your idea for the switch panel sounds pretty good. Keep us posted.

Love it! Mine is an Ex Forest Service truck also, out of Northern CA. Unfortunately, owner before me painted it. Future plans sound good to me, similar to what I do with mine.
