Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

Made these the other day. I cut the seat backs as thin as I could get them so the seats can go back more.

Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

This is what I did with the doors. Converted some dorman regulators to power using late 90s explorer motors. Made some door wire feed thru's. The arm rest pads are from an 87-93 mustang. They were different widths driver side pass side which made it twice the amount of work. The panels are abs plast...

What are the plans for gauges?
Yeah. I got a dakota digital cluster and a obd2 module to run the gauges.

Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

Not interested in selling. Unless an offer I can't refuse is thrown out. I've got probably 2-3x the cost in time and labor to what I've already spent in $. Still got lots to work on, few more months before it's on the road. I'm on the other side of town off of baker between harbor and fairview.

Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

Those mirrors aren't bad. Personally I like the dodge ones a bit better. They flip up/out for towing & look more low profile when you are not towing. Those are what I want to do on the crew. https://www.amazon.com/Passenger-Trailer-Replacement-55077445AO-55077444AO/dp/B008G22REQ/ref=pd_sbs_263_1?_e...

Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

After pulling dents and welding holes up sent the bed, fenders and hood out to get blasted and epoxy primed. Made up a small booth and sprayed the under sides white and the bottom of the bed and fenders with raptor coat. http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j123/chifford81/f100/IMAG0672_zpsf0yzhb9v.jpg...

Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

The only thing I'm hating on is that air filter......... Maybe the rear shock mounts too. Single shear? Really? But it's nice that you got them outside the frame. Yeah the air filter is a cheap ebay chinese intake. Originally wanted to fit a stock or make an intake box. I got it mainly for the inta...

Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

I decided to go with a dakota digital cluster vs autometer gauges. Don't like the stock plastic bezel so I drew one up and made a billet one. http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j123/chifford81/f100/IMAG0644_zps3u6xyoif.jpg http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j123/chifford81/f100/IMAG0645_zpsaqnfw2pq.jp...

Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

been busy the last few months, kind of forgot about this thread. Installed a vintage air and plumbed it out. Was able to use the stock lines and compressor that came with the compressor. Just some cutting and welding. http://i79.photobucket.com/albums/j123/chifford81/f100/IMAG0582_zps07au4wyg.jpg ht...

Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

Any major issues you run in to with the 8 lug swap? Am looking at sourcing parts for just that now.
I got a whole axle from an 81 gmc. If getting used outer axle shafts avoid 81-85. They don't have a snap ring groove in the right spot. I found this out when I went to install my locking hubs.

Re: 73 f100 to TTB f2500

I bought 04-08 seats because I want the inside all nice and powered, they also have an integrated shoulder belt. They didn't fit of course so I lowered the floor. Since I don't have a time frame for getting this thing done I planned on honing my skills with stuff like this. Body work and sheet metal...
