Yeah let me know if you take the job. I'll for sure head down for a little wheeling on the beach.

Re: looking for work

About the only good place to wheel around there is the Outer Banks. Tons of beaches to wheel on. The environmentalists have been cracking down a lot lately but there are still plenty of places. Its about 3 hours from Raleigh and I try to make it down there a couple times a year.

Re: Radiator and Cooling System Tech.

For the Advance one, add the promo code BIG50 and it takes 50 bucks off. At 219 before tax it is a pretty decent option. Thats next on the list for mine.

Re: looking for work

Good luck on the interviews. I know it's not the west coast but the Raleigh area is a really cool place. I am down there every other month for work and thoroughly enjoy it.

Daily Drivers

So as I took a pause from doing a tune up on my daily driver (97 civic hatch): I wondered "What does everyone else drive on a daily basis?" Like most my Bronco is regulated to weekend and special occasion status. So post up what vehicle you spend your time in on a daily basis. I'll start: I spend th...

Re: Best Disk Conversion for the 9"?

I am going to go with Phlio on this one. I am going to use the explorer brakes on my axle. The parking brake works really well if you are in an area that requires them. I have had them on two explorers I have owned and never had a single problem with the drums ever, and only ever changed the pads on...

Re: Joxracing's Newbie F-150 build, Homemade long travel or bust

For C&T beams you need to have a JIG to do it right. Solomotorsports will probably be your best bet. That is what I went with. It was $300 for the beams and I had them shipped to VA for $60.

Re: Napa Ball-joints PN?

Not sure if this helps, from what I have been told the NAPA premium are the same as the Spicer (now Raybestos). Think blue boots. I got the Raybestos Professional Grade from RockAuto.com for much less than my local NAPA. Upper 5001048 Lower 5051156 http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carcode,1106064,p...

Re: dual exhaust questions

My bronco originially came with a redneck 2" dual exhaust with no cross over and cherry bombs. It sounded terrible and I immediately removed it. I went with shorty headers, bassani offroad x pipe (dual 2.5") into a 3" muffler and tailpipe. It now feels like it has way more seat of the pants power. S...

Re: Ford 8.8 vs 9"

I know this is going to sound dumb and amateur, but.... anybody have any good designs or pictures of trusses for the bottom. Everything that I keep finding is designed for the top of the axle and very limited stuff for the bottom.

Looking for a set of rear springs. Not too picky something like a set of f53 or j40's. Let me know what you have and how much you are looking to get.

Re: Ryan's 91

Its used mostly in aviation and other industries. It is used to keep tension and prevent bolts from backing out.

Here is a link I had saved about how to safety wire:

Re: custom d44 steering knuckles

Now I am with Philo. If you could get it so that you could run the larger dana 60 stuff I would be extremely interested. Also you can get the Ford Dana 60 hubs in 5x5.5" or 6x5.5" which would make this a totally feasable and strong upgrade.
