Re: ARB AIR LOCKER
https://www.yotamasters.com/shop/differential/air-compressors/arb-compact-air-compressor-cksa12/ - if you want to make your life simple, you could use this just for the lockers. its super compact and fits the bill well. an air tank is not needed for the locker operation, now if you want it for other...

Re: ARB AIR LOCKER
https://irate4x4.com/threads/is-the-non-comp-arb-for-ford-9-really-that-weak.394527 some good discussion here about them. just like brake lines, air line routing is key to reliability. people get lazy and thats where the failures come in. the new arbs come with a banjo fitting options, get that and ...

Re: Lets Talk Full Floater
My 351C engine kit cost me US$660, with the grand total US$935 after shipping and duties/taxes. Ouch. after working some aussies who build ultra4 cars (which there is no where to race down then because of the stupid motor size restrictions) it is insane to me there is even a racing scene let alone ...

MANAGEMENT ... CAN WE PLEASE GET AN EDIT BUTTON Looks like a very big caliper for the rear of a Bronco, even a full sized one. When the bed is empty I'll bet the ABS system dials those down to almost no pressure to keep from locking up the rear tires. additionally as long as the front is matched to ...

Re: Lets Talk Full Floater
Tell us more about the Spidertrax unit bearings and OEM brakes will fit together. Which OEM brakes are you referring to? I haven't seen a setup that uses the Spidertrax FF set with drum-in-rotor e-brakes. Thanks, Todd Z. all just a theory right now, waiting on my housing to show up and got some hon...

Re: Lets Talk Full Floater
Hub centric? To limit your choice of wheels? Are you really locked into an old school D44? Of course for a D44 you probably know the new m220 Spicer D44 is a bigger and stronger diff than previous D44s. Lug pattern? lots of choices for wheels if you choose a 6 bolt chevy pattern im confused ... im ...

if you are looking into OEM parts, check out jk stuff. currie sells a re-drilled rotor for 5x5.5 i am building a custom axle and am on the fence about lug pattern. if i stay 5x5.5 i will be utilizing the f450 kit from black magic. ive driven a few jks with this kit and it works. shouldnt be hard to ...

Re: TTB limited slips & lockers
ARB is great, but way overkill in a TTB even for mils use. On my hard core Jeep ARB is the only way to go, but my Baja Bronco never needed for a true locker. If you go to Moab or Farmington and do the difficult lines than a locker would be required because the Trutrac just wont cut it because one w...

i would seriously considering buying something already built. even at the current inflated prices you are breaking even and potentially being money ahead in the long run.

it makes sense now why i got a text from someone in MA in response to my wanted add for a ttb setup. too bad i deleted the text and block em after they sent me a pic of an arm setup for a hotrod that was clearly pulled from google.

Re: Planning a Bronco Build
i had a 96 with a 5.8, obd2 there is almost no CARB engine upgrades options. my assumption is that it was the last model year and first year of obd2. if you want to keep things simple, an 96 with a obd2 5.8 is probably the best option. manual hubs, manual tcase, cleanest interior, and straightest bo...
