Re: ABS Removal
so once all the wiring is eliminated, will the brakes still operate with leaving the ABS pump system in with the factory brakelines running thru it? until I would have the time to build new brake lines...

Re: krustythebronco a series of facepalms lol
I think he means 2 degrees down from transfer case output angle. With cardan joint it should point directly at the transfer case output, when at ride height with full spring pack. Gotcha! My pinion, housing face, and driveline. are all on the same plane up to the cardan. Sent from my iPhone using T...

Re: krustythebronco a series of facepalms lol
here is what you need to do to get the pinion angle correct: Put the leaf pack together completely and bolt it up to the spring perches with the u bolts. jack up the reared by the axle till you get it to ride height. you want the pinion to be 2degrees down on the rear yoke of the 3rd member in relat...

Re: Horsepower loss from undersized exhaust
this is interesting. I am in process of doing new exhaust from headers out. I got a nice flow master mandrel bent y pipe, No CATS, and a Black Widow muffler. they suggested I keep the whole system 2.5" instead of the 3

Re: BAJANCO
you might also try calling the guy at FIVEOLOGY racing. He builds the MAF conversion harness to upgrade our older bronco speed density set up. You already have the MAF harness so you might just need to correct factory computer to run the E4OD. also, talk to Dave Sanchez from the Desolate crew. he ju...

yes. The ones from Solo don't require removing any rivets. they are a delrin sleeve with a grade 8 post that fits into the factory bracket.

the Solomotorsports engine mounts are much cheaper than the Autofab ones and fit the proper way. Took me about 20 minutes to install them on mine. I say return the autofab ones.

Re: Fabricated leaf Spring Hanger
sorry to hear you had a bad experience with GIANT. I have his front hangers for the 64" kit and 3 of the 4 bolt holes lined up perfectly. One was just a bit off. It took about 30 seconds to run a 1/2" bit thru it, not a big deal at all, at least for me. I was using Solo's rear shackle and drop brack...

I am running the Gibson headers. I had a set of JBA's on when I bought it. They were cracked around the egr tube port and they leaked. In my opinion, Gibson is a much better product and much cheaper than the JBA. I was able to get to all but 1 header bolt with a ratchet and socket. Also the flange i...

Re: Fiberglass Fender mounting kit
The pics of the bronco at Desolate is my close friends bronco. The work they did is beautiful. But it is a lot of labor time to do these and they are not cheap because of that. These COULD be a production item but the buyer would have to weld on the fender tabs depending on what brand/bulge of the f...

Re: q80's or giant 64's
that's exactly what I wanted to hear. my j40's go negative big time to achieve 17" and a negative spring is a unhappy spring. how much shock do you have left at full bump @deslboy? and would a frame notch even benefit you with your current setup? to me it sounds like you can get 19" without a frame...

Re: q80's or giant 64's
so here is my input. I have the 64" set up on my bronco. I am running a 2.5"x12" King 2 tube bypass under the bed. I went with the 2 tube because it was recommended by Kurt at DC shocks over a 3 tube. This is what he runs on his own bronco so I trust his judgement. I ordered my shocks with the short...

/Users/amyroset/Desktop/IMG_4470.jpg here is a good example for a disk brake conversion for under $250. This same conversion can be done on the 8.8.
