Re: Let’s talk Motor upgrades ! Non Stroker..
I am building stroker number 2. Stroker one was Stock intake, stock MAF, 30lb/hr injectors, 255lph pump, AFR 165 Renegde 58cc heads, forged 408 stroker kit, comp cams for EFI, Roller rockers. 10:1 comp The thing ripped. Made roughly 360ft-lbs to rear wheels if I recall Motor stuck a ring at 5k mile...

Re: Desolate V562 VS Q80 Springs
A bronco needs between 185lb/in and 225lb/in rear spring rate and between 10.5" free arch to 12.5" pending load/set up. Hopefully the V562 is a copy of the spring set I gave Greg a couple years ago to put on a customers rig minus some ride height. Same I designed in 2010 when F53's didnt last 1 baj...

LUBE LOCKER TTD D44
Is the dana 44 ttb bolt pattern the same as a typical d44 axle so a Lube Locker gasket could be used on the 3rd member? Lube Locker offers 2 types of dana 44, HD and Non HD. I am not familiar enough with either pattern to know.

Re: C clip eliminator d44 issues
While I have these sitting in front of me here's the Spicer part numbers for the bolt in parts if anyone is interested. Seal 35938. Bearing Assembly 566075. retaining ring 36121. and the seal for the other side of the diff is 40710. are these numbers for dana 44 bolt in stub axle or dana 50? They d...

Re: UMP air filters
I would never run a K&N other than on a street car with a carburetor. The ump is disliked by dyno guys with maf due to how the sensor gets the air to calibrate fuel delivery. A MAF makes calcs based on laminar flow across the cross section...therefore the filter assembly its hooked to should try to ...

Re: Intake Air Temp Sensor to Threaded
by plug and play I mean fits in the same location, I would then pin the two additional wires into it to make it a 6pin instead of 4 pin and eliminate the other sensor.

Re: Intake Air Temp Sensor to Threaded
Why would you not upgrade your mass ? the newer style has the air temp sensor built in. Like a Pro M or a PMAS. I run the PMAS on my combo https://www.pmas-maf.com/?make=138&model=181&year_id=&category=57&post_type=product&action=vpf-search Id have to go back to the dyno to do that as the MAF table...

Re: Lets talk seats.
Haven't weighted them, but I know that rear bench is HEAVY! I've always thought it would be cool to make a tube base and have 2 bear/mastercraft/PRP/etc. buckets bolted to it & use the factory brackets/clips to make the thing come out easy. The race seats like that are waaaaay lighter than the fact...

Re: UMP air filters
the UMP above with 4" in and out and 12" long flows sub 500CFM. For a stock motor thats ok, the OE flows right around 400CFM but if a performance motor is in the future, plan now. Id recommend this one if going custom... https://shop.donaldson.com/store/en-us/product/D100029/34603 80 series land cru...

Intake Air Temp Sensor to Threaded
Has anybody swapped to a threaded intake temp sensor from a different year ford when they made custom air cleaner set up? Im looking at these that are a fit for a 96 and forward 5.8 so I am curious if the ohms are the same and the only difference is thread vs snap in. I coudnt find sensor data for t...
