Re: "Blanc-Oh!", my distraction

That's great! I've gravity bled A LOT of things... I think it's an under-rated method!

Re: Low Fuel Light

Hey Paul! Yes. Wilson is due for a fuel tank drop and a good going through. The fuel pumps are noisy these days, but both still provide plenty of pressure with no drivability issues. The redundant pumps provide peace of mind... I switched pumps a few months ago just to run the one that's been sittin...

Re: Low Fuel Light

Are you having the typical fuel guage problems? I plan to replace my sending unit with the Holley Lidar unit. It has no moving parts. https://www.holley.com/products/gauges_and_gauge_accessories/gauge_accessories_and_harnesses/parts/19-250[/IMG] Interesting. I hadn't heard of that... will look into...

7/8" flange? Dang!

Kritter has a super healthy 408 in his Bronco. I don't recall the headers being anything over the top. His also has single exhaust... and it rips! I'm suuuuper happy with the Magnaflow system on Wilson.

Re: "Blanc-Oh!", my distraction

Man, it’s so hard to sort through all the opinions… as you well know. I find the most success following those that say things like, “I don’t know”. “Yeah, I know that’s what everyone does, but it works like shit.”, “Let me know what you find out.” As opposed to those that say, “THIS IS HOW YOU HAVE ...

I've got another '66 single cab long bed in my garage. It's a friend of mine's. 2" beam drop 3" in the rear with new suspension and power disc brakes. Wilwood stuff, which has been fun to get to work so far. 390 with a 4 speed granny low. Neat old truck for sure.
Nice!

Looking good Steve! I have also inherited a family jewel. 66 ford stroked fe with fuel injection. Currently a majority is done. The motor loses oil pressure when warm so im going to pull it and check main and rod bearings. Its got some really good parts in it. Cool! I've had a 63, 64, and ad a 67.

The last two times I was at Pismo this year there was no creek.
The creek depends on the time of year and rain. It's been raging a number of times this year. Pretty impressive to see when it's like that.

Wow, I don’t think I ever saw this front end build. A front sway bar would be pretty great. With a disconnect would be even better!

My first thought: No. My second thought: I miss these guys! Cars change but it’s the same good people we all had damn good times with! I’m down to do something. On top of that, I’m feeling pretty over social media and algorithms that prevent me from seeing posts from the people I actually care about...

Well, sir. You clearly have way more experience and insight on this topic... since I'm, fortunately, not doing the work, I'll either get it it and love it, or learn it. Either way, I'm excited to have this project started. It's been in the works for a long time.

Re: Rugged Radios Stretched Bronco - Factory Race Support, Tacos, and Coffee!

FWIW Bill Wood once commented to me that those brake bias adjusters are the singular largest headache his tech people have and he'd discontinue them if he though he could. Good to know. I hadn't planned this brake change now, especially considering I a have a trip into Nevada next weekend, but it's...
