Re: Cargo/tool storage solutions.

It’s not a full load out, but here are the essentials that we pack for an off-road trip. As I said in my last post, I’m updating to the Pro boxes. I’m also looking for some some low-profile fluid containers to use instead of off-the-shelf quart and gallon jugs, which would allow me to use the standa...

Re: Stretched GFB by Rugged-Wilson is back!

The drive train in the Bronco was totally stock until I bought the Mogi unit from Kupiec. It supposedly was a fresh one. Steve I saw your post last April about you breaking it. but I missed a follow-up on the replacement. Can you tell me what you are now using? Hey Paul, The same transmission, just...

Well, that did’t go as planned! The family and I took Wilson to Cal City for Easter... got there around 10pm, set up camp, unloaded Wilson, my youngest daughter wanted to go for a ride so we gave it a quick and mild hot lap around camp.. worked great. The next morning, I made some adjustments to th...

Well? It's finally a reality...almost 6 years after I sold her? She's home and in my care again. Not the same as when she left me? But that's ok...change is good
NICE! Word on the street is the old band is getting back together!

Current Cargo Solutions

Pictured here is a medium load in since it was only for KOH (in other words, stuck close to basecamp, did not need communications product to support racers, and help was not far if needed). Mexico trips generally means three more boxes. Boxes are from Front Runner and will be updated with their new ...

Re: Let’s talk Motor upgrades ! Non Stroker..

The Edelbrock Truck 5.8L intake has been on back-order since the middle of last year that I know of. I really want one for my 408. Summit persists in showing them only 3 months out, but that date keeps sliding. I have been told by a friend who needed an intake and investigated things that when Edel...

Re: Let’s talk Motor upgrades ! Non Stroker..

I haven't read the thread, but I just put AFR heads on the 147,000 mile engine in Wilson. They made a HUGE difference. It already had Bassani headers. I wanted to put an Edelbrock intake on it but they were on backorder and I needed to get it back together. I plan to have another short block rebuilt...

The family and I took Wilson to Pozo Saloon yesterday for lunch... if you're ever in the area, this is a fun fire road that begins near Lopez Lake.

Nice! I am interested. Thanks!
Shoot me an email with name and phone number. I’ll have someone reach out to you. We have tons of options that can make a system a lot more affordable than most people think. Plus, GFB discount... 😉

Trailteamsix , Probably no an applicable comment for most of the readers since they have open rigs with headsets or helmets. If you have an enclosed rig then an intercom can be avoided. Make the rig quiet and be happy without an intercom without headsets or helmets. Otherwise spendy even with barga...

Test & Tune and Free Bronco Antenna Mounts

I’m a going to be working at Empi in Anaheim this Saturday... taking Wilson just because. And now, Michael Cox is taking his sweet little LS Bronco, wrapped in kitties... so, now I want my Bronco family to crash it. First 6 Broncos that show up get one of our new Bronco mounts... replaces the stock ...

Re: 2-way comm sets. School me...

For those of us (me) that cannot afford a killer Rugged or PCI comm set, what are the options for a lower cost 2 or 4 person set that music can still be played thru? My Bronco doesn't have any insulation so it would be nice to have a manageable convo while headed to the desert, etc. Cant really fin...
