Re: LeDuc Swapmeet logistics.

you got a free seat in your truck Chris? If not I may just follow you out in the Tacoma and ride through the gate with you so I can get in early. That is - if I can swing it. I've got my tax appointment next week so I'll see just how much they are gonna ding me for and I can make the call as to whet...

Re: February 2010 - Update 1

P.S.: I was really surprised as to how crappy the OEM floor was under the pulled-up OEM rubber matting! Yuck. My original plan was to Line-X it or U-Coat it myself...and somehow coat/paint/cover the cage tubing. But what would the "GFB experts" recommend? I even thought of re-carpeting it with some...

Re: Paint or powder coat?

Re: Ice chest / Cooler tech

I have been thinking about building a dual layered one (outer skin then styrofoam then inner skin) out of 18ga or so stainless and mounting it in the ex-cab portion of the supercab. I would have a drain tube in the bottom that would exit through the cab floor. I am undecided on whether I would leave...

Re: Curt LeDuc Off Road Swap Meet 2010, Feb 28th

Bumping this and subscribing. I really want to get in on this but am not positive. Looks like I may have a $25k or so tax bill coming up  so I can't decide if I should go and buy now know I won't be spending for a while again, or stay home and start counting all the change I can find in the cou...

Re: Paint or powder coat?

In the world of aircraft the prefered coating for structural parts is bright yellow laquer because it is brittle and the cracks show up. White is also a good color. A good substitute for laquer would be light color rattle can paint. That brings up a good point I forgot to mention. I always paint my...

It's not hijacked - it's my thread and you are asking for links I offered up... As for the 79 - please do let me know when you post up pics. And if you need a cab - I know where a rust free 73 cab is that you can grab for CHEAP. It's right here in Costa Mesa by me if you are in So Cal. As for the li...

Thanks.

As you can probably tell I've been around a while and I know a bunch of the "regulars" here from time spent on other boards.

So yeah - it's good to have another place to waste my time while at work

Re: A pair of 74's...

I wish I could. My buddy that has my front d60 (2 of them actually) has fallen off the face of the earth and hasn't been returning calls. I can't wrap that thing until I get it back :( In the mean time I am working on other upgrades to the crew and then getting my alfa to be more of a "driver". I wa...
