Re: Ford RZR XP4000

Due to this blasphemy that I have comitted, it will end up being the XP5300. I really wanted an automatic, and I just couldn't figure out a cheap way to make the 4.0 work as an auto. It was cheaper to get a 5.3 with tranny and t-case, than to rebuild the pos auto trans I had. My goal is to get this ...

Re: Ford RZR XP4000

Moving forward, I cut and turned the beams, and built extended radius arms. I was looking for 3" of lift in the front, so I jacked it up to normal ride height, took measurements, then lowered the beams so that it would have 3" of lift, measured again, and determined that I would need to move the low...

Re: Ford RZR XP4000

https://i.imgur.com/mIHhQA0.jpg I got the springs mounted and realized I would need to re- arch them. So I used the kinker and it worked. Re-arched them 3.5in. https://i.imgur.com/4rGEudK.jpg Made some leaf plates/lower rear shock mounts, not quite done yet, they will be getting plated across the s...

Re: Ford RZR XP4000

Today I ripped the rear end off after checking the pinion angle. I will have to cut the leaf spring mounts off the sploder rear end, and re weld them on, I figure I will put the new spring on, u-bolted loosly, put the angle gauge back on, and rotate it till it is the same angle as before, then weld ...

Re: Ford RZR XP4000

I got a 8.8 out of a 2000 sploder, 3.73 posi, this thing has the dana 35 with 3.73's in front. I got a set of 33x12.50x15's. It has a blown automatic tranny, I picked up an M5OD-R1 5 speed, and I am looking for a manual shift t-case. My plan is to do a fuel cell. I am going to have to re-engineer th...

Ford RZR XP4000

Well, I am back. I sold the Beast Bronco, and have moved on. She was fast, but there were things that I should have done differently from the beginning. Number 1 was sticking with a stock efi motor would have been much better, as I was getting like 6mpg on premium with the 414w stroker motor. Also, ...

i put a set of 5100's in my bronc, and blew 3 out of 4 front ones within 20 minutes of installatio. Lol. I am not kidding! After installing a threat kit, and some king coilovers, I have jumped it numerous times, and hit millions of whoops whith no problems.

Re: The Beast

Well, I have been hauling ass in the beast for about a year now. Everything is good. I think the next phase is going to involve, lowering the rear 2", and lowering the front 1". It is just too tall, and feels like it wants to roll. Then I want to do the autofab 2 link in the back, and 35" tires. And...

Re: The Beast

Yesterday afternoon, I took my buddy for a danger cruise in the bronco, and we were on this run that took us right up next to a golf course. There was a rutted out road that went right next to a tee box with an old codger trying to tee off, I was hauling ass, and the ruts were so deep that I was dra...
