Agree with above.
I have also had good luck with the bigger flowmaster pro-series mufflers at taking off some noise while also not killing the flow. They are very different then typical 40 series. The pro-series are the ones that look like glasspacks, but have the intersecting cones in the middle.

Re: Longer shackles and lower hanger question
Here is where I ended up. Took longer to get them in then I wanted but said I would update the thread. H58's in the rear with CSH57 coils up front, Re-indexed the axle with ruff stuff perches no shims/wedge to get the pinion angle correct. http://www.supermotors.net/getfile/1136214/fullsize/without-...

Re: Longer shackles and lower hanger question
I know it will "work" to get the ride height on mine even with the front. I am not sure yet how it will perform. I will likely have to move my shock mounts around on the axle tube. Which this is ok as gets them out of being on the bottom edge. Will have to update with the results. Maybe worth noting...

Re: Longer shackles and lower hanger question
Should be able to answer this in a week or 2 as it is exactly what my 78 will have on it, once they show up.

Re: Horsepower loss from undersized exhaust
As short as your exhaust will be, I think I'd just stick with 3". I am also another who thinks that you will not see a significant difference from going to a different size or duals. I will add that I like the sound of larger diameter single better, but that is not what your asking about. I have a s...

Re: Bronco Fuel Tank Skid
Looks good. Since these are bent to form the bottom of the tank if dimensions where provided could you guys make one for the 25 gallon tank? Likely would just need to remove the straight section.

Re: Edelbrock intake users: How did you mount the coil and TAB
I made a plate from aluminum that uses a few of the plenum bolts to holt it to the intake. Though Mine only holds a FPR and coil.

Re: Ford 1979 tail lights
TCM GLX sells them, or makes them. I have a set on my 78.
Deletes the back up lights but no big deal as they are not great and can just run some LED pod lights for that.

Re: Bronco coil bucket w/raptor shock
Any more info on the included shocks? Such as stock valving, last service if they have been etc...
Nice looking setup that I have talked to Geoff before about. Also like the bump stops that where added to these buckets.
Do you have guestimate as to what shipping maybe on these? Or a weight.

Re: Super charged 351w 2nd gen lightning
There is a build on FSB by member panabax, might even be that truck that is for sale, where they added the same kind of blower. Anyways he cut up a stock intake and welded in the correct flange for that eaton blower. I imagine this person did the same thing. Though I thought his was running a MAF se...

Any interest in shipping the FOX shocks if bought at your asking price? As in 400+ shipping
Completely understandable if you would rather not mess with shipping stuff.

Re: Custom Fuel Filler Neck/Tube???
I have done this on my 92 and it will make it so it takes a long time to put fuel into the tank. And All I did was cut it even with the metal part that bolts up to the body. If you do remove that I think you will need to run a bigger vent from else where. Maybe able to use something like a 78/79 has...
