"project orange juice"

Funny looking back on this build, and so much that has happened in my life since the last post. I installed the full desolate motorsports rear kit, minus the sway bar. Got it all done and never took it out. Ended up trading it to a close friend for a 71 bronco, which is sitting idle on my car traile...

03 ford supercrew xlt 2wd

Well I need to sell my supercrew so I can buy more bronco parts. 03 ford supercrew 2wd. Has 165,xxx miles. Camburg engineering 6.5 chase truck front suspension, h&m motorsports boxed chromoly idler arm. Runs great, just did plugs and new msd coils, new master cylinder, decent 33" maxxis big horns. D...

Re: Parts bronco.

Well I almost jumped the gun on this thing. I decided that finding the interior pieces and fixing the cab will be cheaper and less headache. Gotta keep telling myself it's not a show truck, but a play truck.

Re: Making an E4OD a Shiftable 4 Speed??

I have a crappy b&m shifter in mine at the moment. I can shift my e40d all day long and just hit the button on the dash for 4th. It's not like the newer truck that will jump to second when its in 1st.

Re: Best 9inch year to buy for my bronco

I've found alot of 31 spline econoline 9" rears. I heard that the newer econolines with a 10.25 are wide as well, but can't find any info on em.

Parts bronco.

Ok so my bronco is a 92 I'm looking at a 90 for parts, like the cab and interior since mine has no interior and the cab is pretty hammered. Any differences in should be aware of. I'll swap all my wiring and dash into it.

Re: q80's or giant 64's

that's exactly what I wanted to hear. my j40's go negative big time to achieve 17" and a negative spring is a unhappy spring. how much shock do you have left at full bump @deslboy? and would a frame notch even benefit you with your current setup? to me it sounds like you can get 19" without a frame ...

Re: Dana 44- Open, LS - Thoughts on your setup??

I bought a 44 true track at the leduc swap meet 2 years ago for 5 bucks. seems to be in good working order but it's a 3.73 & down carrier. I find some 4.88 thick cut gears to run it. and while I'm at it i need to get the bolt in pass. side axle set up. so until then I'm open and it works fine.

Re: q80's or giant 64's

im pretty close to a 1:1 ratio with my 18's. since they lean towards the back they follow the motion of the rear end. I've got about 1/2" of shaft at full bump and about 3/4" at full droop. I am thinking of maybe cutting into the inner bed side and going with a 16" bypass leaned forward. but I've go...

Re: q80's or giant 64's

hell if I cantilevered it, just short course link it. my fab skills and time really don't allow that though.

Re: q80's or giant 64's

I can't see though how guys can pull 19" + out of the 64's without going through the bed. my shocks right now are mounted on top of the spring plate and slightly angled back, through the bed. I'm using most of a 18" shock to get 17" of travel, probably because they are now following the arc of the s...

Re: q80's or giant 64's

I have camburg shackles. shocks are not dialed in at all. in fact I'm over em and gonna get some bypasses. they work great when I'm loaded down and have 4 people inside, but with no adjustment they suck when I'm not loaded up. I don't mind notching the frame one bit. I would also like to get the sho...

q80's or giant 64's

so I was going to start over with a cleaner bronco but think I might just invest the money into mine. so as of now I have threat 5.5 over beams, 2.5x14 coilovers up front. in the back I was running out of cash and opted for j40's and 2.5x18 smooth bodies through the bed. well needles to say the ass ...
