Is the transmission still available. Is it stock or built?
Thanks

Re: Racing Battle at Primm 2016
We would love to have pictures. Our team was so small this time around that we were only able to get pictures from the hot pit.

Re: Racing Battle at Primm 2016
Thanks! So we got 2nd the first day out of 18 trucks. The second day we pushed it even harder and by the fourth lap we were in 1st place but got a water leak at the water pump and had to pit a few times to add water. We were about 1-2 miles from the finish of the last lap when we broke the rear axle...

Racing Battle at Primm 2016
We will be racing our bronco in class 2000. We are #2002 and hoping for a win this year. Last time we raced primm we got second. We drew first off the line out of 24 trucks so we will be the guys to catch. Hope to see some GFB's out there. If you do come out make sure to come by and say hi. We will ...

Re: OUTLAW 3, a new race series for SWB 4x4's
So we have decided we would rather get class 3 going again so we decided to do this race even if it conflicts with other races. So count our bronco in for the first race and hopefully the rest of the season if we are able to get a good turnout. Its going to be hard to get any team members to go to t...

Re: OUTLAW 3, a new race series for SWB 4x4's
I talked to Glen about this at the last code race. Depending on the date and if it doesn't conflict with KOH or Snore PAB race we will have our bronco out there. Last weekend was my first CODE race and it was a lot of fun, can't wait to race our bronco in Baja!

Re: brakes < gofast.. power booster vs manual brakes.
We are running manual brakes on the race bronco. It's 95 bronco calipers up front and gm metric calipers in the rear. Using a willwood tandem master cylinder. It stops pretty good just takes a lot more effort to get it stopped especially on asphalt. I like the idea of the tundra calipers. When I red...

Re: who's running a "built" motor?
So in our race bronco we are running a 351w roller with a stock bottom block out of 1997 f250. It has Edlebrock heads perform rpm 2.02, edlebrock upper and lower intake, Edelbrock 1.6 roller rockers (we got a discount sponsorship from Edelbrock), COMP Cams camshaft 35-312-8 - Duration 276/280, Lift ...

Re: Glen Strightiff/Chris Wilson C3 build
After tear down, the axles are NOT broken. We stripped the splines out of both drive plates. They are steel. They must not have been correctly heat treated. Well that's good news! Your running camburg hubs right? Hopefully it's not a problem with them, I have only heard good things about camburgs r...

Re: Glen Strightiff/Chris Wilson C3 build
Sorry about the bad luck Chris. It kinda blows me away that you broke both rear axles. That's crazy, but glad to hear you have the front figured out and that the delrin bushings held up. So are the 300M axles that much stronger then a regular 40 spline? I'm doing research right now to see what reare...

Re: 96 351w: Baumann Controller for E4OD & ECM
Quarter horse is a good product. At half off that's a killer deal. I'm running a Tweecer which does the same thing in my 91 bronco. Tweecer is a great product aswell. With tweecer they will send you a custom tune for your application and eliminate any computer functions your not using. For us we are...

Re: Glen Strightiff/Chris Wilson C3 build
Chris glad to see it coming back together. Hopefully the delrin bushings work in the leafs. We are having the same issue with poly bushings in our leafs. Every race so far we've destroyed them. We are running delrin bushings on the shackles where they mount to the hanger and they seem to hold up pre...

Re: Rear Traction Bar setups
I disagree that it should be as long as the springs as above. The pinion angle change would be huge over 18 inches with that. The pinion angle of a leaf by itself does not change as if it pivots on the front eye. I think the longer version would have more success with the shackle but it will still ...

Re: Rear Traction Bar setups
Thanks for the reply guys. I'm going to give it a try with the traction bar being as long or longer then the driveline. Well hopefully this will give the leaf spring a little longer life as we broke one leaf and bent the other side, both main leafs at our last race the Motion Tire 300. I will have i...

Rear Traction Bar setups
Ive been think about a anti axle wrap traction bar for the rear of the race truck. Running 64" leaf under setup with about 18" travel strapped. I'm thinking about doing a single bar on a shackle where it mounts to the frame. Is anyone running a traction bar? What setup, do you like it, pros and cons...

Re: Haeder info
On my race truck I went with Pacesetters they have 1 5/8" primary tubes and are full lenght. They are the biggest headers I could find. So far they work great on my bronco but have only one race on them. We are running a efi 351w around the 400hp range. No dyno yet. Here's the link. http://www.summi...
