‘84 Ford Bronco Prerunner

Selling my Bronco Prerunner project. It made it out to one Bronco meet in Pismo years ago and has been virtually parked ever since. Philo and SteveG probably still remember it and can maybe chime in on how it ran. The last photo is what it looked liked before I primed it since it hat barrier fibergl...

Re: TTB vs. THE WORLD (AKA differences between Ford TTB axles)

I know where he saw a 99' and up TTB F-250. SCORE had Spirit out fit Super Duty's for them with the D50 TTB's. I saw one in Mexico 2 years ago at the 1000, and SCORE also had one on display at the Off-Road Expo last year.

I've done and completely understand everything talked about above. Except for where do you get the bolted flange conversion for the diff to eliminate the c-clips, and how does it works? Pics please.

Re: Pic post

Hey, Tony regarding the Edelbrock F-150 pics, when and where were those taken. That's Rob passenger and Frank driving before he broke his back. MDR Night Race 2 years ago? If so its before he lost the spare tire mount the night of the race. It was a great weekend.

Been there done that about 2 months ago. My bad luck though, it waisted my steel hood, cowl piece, and my windshield. New motor and I got to happy with the go fast pedal, and BAM!!!!! I feel you pain.

Re: 4x4 how often do you use it?

Not to get off topic, but I do agree with everyone that 4WD is great for all the reasons above. I guess my question if more for MOSS2 and Ollie. How much do you guys feel that its necessary to use 4WD to pull you through the turns and problems when pre-running, etc. This is when you have more horsep...

Re: Build overkill.

I've got to agree with Ollie and Brian on this topic. I try and build my stuff as tough as possible so not to be stranded and to handle how hard I like to beat on my Bronco. Economics limits what we all do, but when it comes down to it. When we brake parts, we are always going to try and replace it ...

Re: C-notching the Rear & Spring Under for lower ride height?

That advise seems pretty sound to just wait and link it. I guess I need to just be ok with it sitting taller in the rear than I would like for now. Thanks for all the input everybody.

Re: C-notching the Rear & Spring Under for lower ride height?

My crew cab is spring under now and has way less axle wrap issues with no 2 link on it. A big problem with a Bronco is driveshaft clearance and the top of the diff clearing the bed floor. Also, I already have clearance issues with the inside of the tire and the wheel well. Yeah, I know about the in...

C-notching the Rear & Spring Under for lower ride height?

Has anyone ever done or seen the rear c-notched and spring under, in order to get a lower ride height in the rear of a Bronco. I know that most of the time this is accomplished by linking the rear, but I'm just looking to get my ride height down in the rear without having to link it. I know this is ...

Its an auto, with a shift kit. That still hasn't stopped me from having trans issues though. I love my truck, but the stock Dodge trans is junk. Its the 325hp, 610tq, 5.9L motor.

Keepin them interested are you Griffin. Your Bronco is what inspired me to go 4 over on my frontend when I saw it a few years back in Barstow. I will always love the 87'-91' body style. My first Bronco 13 years ago was a 89'. The rear fiberglass on your rig is fitted beautifully by the way, keep up ...

Re: Coil Deflection

I'm not sure about the deflection, I"m sure Steve will have some thoughts on it though. The one problem you will likely run into is that most C&T beams are set-up for a 4" coil. If you combine it with 4" drop brackets, you would have to run roughly a 8" coil to get your camber close. C&T beams are n...
