Re: Where do you cut to extend beams

Lengthening where you mention would effect the radius arm mount like you said but I also believe you could run into axle clearance issues there because you would be making a narrower section of the beam longer, it could cause the axle to hit the top or bottom inside the beam during cycling, although...

Re: 95 F150 - Project Marilyn

You use 5" square tube and cut it length wise and then stagger it so it looks similar to the stock beam? And im going to do the same threat style radius arms as you, is that why you say outside the radius arm bolts or is there another reason? And I have 3/16 and 1/8 as I bought both, so thank you on...

Re: LImiting/Equalizing Bump Travel Side to Side

Are you not running a heater box? Usually that limits the passenger side before the drivers and I match to that. Personally I set them up equal because it was close, find the side that limits travel and bump/strap to that, but I wouldn't have a problem running them different side to side if that's w...

Looks really good. I like that lower shock mount and your beams turned out really clean. Do you have any more pictures of your beam extension? Thanks.

Re: 94 Raptor killer

Just read that pimp does have self tuning capabilities now. Get a wide band, injectors, and adjustable fuel regulator and go to work. Your set up should be pretty easy to tune.

Re: 94 Raptor killer

MAF is nice because it has OEM reliability and is pretty good at self tuning, and almost every ford tuner can tune them effectively from experience with foxbody and up mustangs. You don't have to go aftermarket to make it MAF. For a long time ford speed density was considered to be impossible to tun...

That looks really good. Rustoleum is good as well. Only thing I've noticed with flat black is that it often stains with mud or oil/grease. Your experience may vary.

Re: Drooopy's 94

Nice start. Honestly I just use brand name spray paint like krylon, semi gloss. Looks just as good as any other paint but is cheap, durable, easy to apply and touch up. If you are in a rust area you could use a encapsulator like por15 but that stuff is a fortune and still needs a top coat.

Re: Solo radius arm pivots

A fine thread nut would not go on that far or at all easily, and wouldn't come off easily with no physical damage. There is a very obvious difference between course and fine thread, so Im not sure why that keeps coming up.... my guess is a overly crushed stover nut.

My whole truck is 1.5" long fine thread with nylocks and washers, so that will work for you. you could try 1 1/4" too but no reason.

Half decent header with a good thick non warped flange, and Teflon tape the header bolts. Works well.

Bronco looks amazing CHO. I had a question, what size UMP is that and how much HP is it good for? I just bought the 3" outlet 4" inlet one and I'm wondering it it's gonna be enough.

Re: head light issues on 92' front end conversion

As stated you have to minipulate the 3 wire pinout on the HID harness anyway, so you might as well do it now and fix your problem and upgrade in one shot. If that doesn't make sense it will become apparent when you install the kit. Or if you google DDM HID install for bronco there is a thread that e...
