Re: 1982 F150 stepside 4x4

I would pay twice what your asking for that step side anyone around here(NY) would. Anybody on here have any connections with shipping vehicles? Somebody should seriously look into it. I just bought a 2wd 90 with straight 6 126k on it for $3,600. It was from Texas so no rust. Clean vehicles up here ...

Re: Rod's 84 BabyBajaF100

Rod back in the day I remember a local ford engine builder that was pretty well know told me the 351c and m needed a couple of things done to address oiling issues. The oil return holes in the valley of block and If I remember correctly the journals on the crank need some work. You probly already kn...

Re: Dynomat, peel n seal , and b-quiet

I put peel and seal on the back wall of cab on the tranny cover and under panels on doors and behind the doors on a extended cab f-150 I built. I thought it made a hell of a difference. I don't know how it would hold up on the floor where u were always stepping on it though. I still have rolls left ...

Re: Removing front fuel tank -- F150

They're 20 years old but all stainless correct? I live in the rust belt and have always had a 90's smthing full size ford around and have yet to see them rot. I had a 96 that would fill the front tank when using the rear. The valve they're talking about is in the pump itself on the 93-96 i believe. ...

Re: Today is that tomorrow we always talk about……

Bob, I only knew you from this site and a couple evenings of txting but you seemed like one hell of a guy. We just went through a very similar fight with my aunt. I can't even begin to understand how hard it would be to loose your spouse. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and both you and your famil...

Re: RMC's el hefe build.

They're popular with truck pull and rock bashing guys. Under enough shock load they tell me the crush sleeve can get crushed down more and create slop. You having the tools and know how it would be a cheap and pretty easy upgrade.

Just a quick suggestion. I know you don't have time right now but have you ever thought about putting a crush sleeve eliminator in?

Re: The Vieja

I like the step side but that 80-86 style with anything else has always kinda bugged me. I mean how the 80-86 were indented and the 70's and 90's weren't. I had a truck with 85 front fenders and 88 bedsides and one with 93 front fenders and early 80's stepside bedsides. They were both painted to mat...

Re: Winter SUCKS!

I love winter. The only way to get through it here in snow contry is to buy a sled. I think anybody that was into fast off road vehicle would be atleast alittle intrigued. The acceleration and crazy bump eating suspensions in the newer sleds are amazing. And if you're cold you can always just put on...

Re: Pure gasoline vs E10

We have that same e10 here in ny. But soon after it came out the station's labeled the pumps. I had a 2007 mustang GT at the time and lost almost exactly 3 mpg. The bigger problem you guys probably don't see as much with the nicer climate is that the ethanol absorbs water like a sponge. I've seen ma...

Awesome. Thank you exactly what I was hoping for a quick fix. GFB saves the day again. I hope someday soon the house is "done" and I can give the truck the time and $ it deserves.

Stock Lumbar Seat

Has anybody messed with the stock lumbar seats? I have a 96 f-150 that seams to only inflate not deflate. The thing is rock hard. Can anybody point me where I should look first? I'm really busy on the house and have no time for the poor truck. Any time you guys could save would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Would you pay $100 for a shovel?

Oh ok I see. I was wondering what those cap things were for. Perfect so when you bash your forehead with the point on the shovel while trying to use the hammer you can flag down some help with the red cap and the strobe function  No in reality if it was well made I would consider buying for $10...

Re: Would you pay $100 for a shovel?

I'd consider it if it had some kind of cap for the end of the flash light and the button to turn flash light on. Don't most people already carry a separate flash light? I think like a mallet or hammer on the end would be more handy.
