Ford 9 Inch Help
1971 F100 I pulled the rear end last weekend to rebuild. Pretty sure it has never been apart. Here's my dilemma: Pulled the axles and the third. While pulling the axle shafts out, I noticed quite a bit of bearing play. They were toast. Turns out the inner races were spinning on the shaft (just perfe...

Memorial Day thoughts
Memorial Day hit me hard due to recent events. Vengeance 01, the uh-1y (Huey) that went down in Nepal. I was with Hmla-469 "Vengeance" for 4 years as a Ordnanceman. One of the crew chiefs on that flight I worked with. Even with humanitarian aid, the job is still dangerous. During my time in the USMC...

Steering Systems - Stock, Superunner & Equal Len. Crossover
This thread has a ton of great info, thanks guys. Just one question regarding my 71 F100 with an autofab front end. My tie rods are shot, and I want to replace them for ease of mine seeing as how I have my truck apart. I can't find the centerlink anywhere, with the extra adjustments that autofab use...

F100 brake question
'71 f100 Finally getting around to installing my autofab front suspension, and have a question regarding the proportioning valve. Since I am switching to disk brakes in the front, I've read I need to replace my PV, or my front brakes will drag. So my question is, what's the best way to go about this...

Re: 90+ Bronco
Forgot that. I'm in Simi Valley CA
FUFIMI, I saw that one on Dez Rangers, smog equip isn't installed. I don't feel like throwing it on and possibly chasing a smog gripe, especially since they did a 5.0 to a 5.8 swap. Been there, don't like that.

90+ Bronco
Thought I would throw this up along with cruising Craigslist.
Looking for a 90+ Bronco. Preferably MAF (which is 95-96 if I'm correct) with the 5.8. Preferably stock or little done to it, as long as its not beat on.
Price range is ~5k. Low miles and cleanliness is a plus.
Thanks GFB!

That's awesome. I love hearing about people and their family members that served in the military (especially the Corps). I am actually getting out in may. Gonna go to school to get my A&P license and hopefully get a county job fixing helicopters. It's what I do now, and I love it.
