Yikes! Time for a new steering gear box. I think solo has a thing to make it a double sheer and help with this.

Re: Fox 2.0 performance shocks
My bronco doesn’t have a lift and I was hoping to find something for the stock shock upper mounts. I guess it just comes down to getting the correct compressed length.

Fox 2.0 performance shocks
I’m in the process of picking shocks to go on my mostly stock suspension bronco. I am really leaning towards a set of fox 2.0 performance shocks. Basically a set of fairly cheap (~$150 each) rebuildable shocks. Has anyone done this or though of doing this and have part numbers? Fox doesn’t have anyt...

Re: Ford 9" Disc Brake Options - Advice?
Just adding my 2 cents. Don’t forget to use the correct master cylinder. Disk pistons need more fluid flow than their drum counter parts and they don’t need the residual valves that drums need. Iirc we were upgrading to expedition master cylinders.

I do still have them. I just measured the lug holes and looks like they are exactly 5/8” holes.

5 17” American racing wheels
I have a set of 5 American Racing wheels 17x8 5x5.5 lug pattern. They are cool because they look like alcoas but are 17” instead of 15”. Looking to get $500 for all five of them. Located in murrieta. (951)452-4050.

new extended front brake lines,
You can zip tie them to the coil spring with a short piece of rubber tubing to stand off a little.

Steering gear bolt size
What do you mean your cage will be bolting to it? I believe they are 7/16” bolts. I wouldn’t put any added strain on those bolts if you can help it. If you are talking about like the solo engine cage, the bolt just lines it up. All the strength of the cage is from it welded to the frame.

Here’s what I would do. Put the beams and radius arms on. Take the springs off the shocks and release the nitrogen. Put the lower spring retainer on the shock and compress it all the way. Move he beams up so there is 2-5/16” between the frame and beam. This distance is for 35” tires on 15x8” wheels ...

Econoline 9” for sale. This is wider than a fullsize 9”. Around 68” wide wms to wms vs a fullsize at 65”. 31 spline axles, stock gears not sure what they are. The pinion support has a broken bolt tab. I can throw in a good set of complete drum brakes (with e-brake) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2...

Double check the skid plate fitment. Our frames are different than broncos. Especially where the lower part bolts to. Might have to make adapter plates. Or modify it.

12.5 on Alcoa with threat radius arms
You can probably fill out the fiberglass a little better if you run a 15x10 wheel. Reason being is they have a bit more back spacing and space the tire out farther than the 15x8 or stock 15x7.5 alcoas. This will also help with rubbing the radius arm. To stop the tires from rubbing you can adjust the...
